AWTuning Warranty
1. Warranty Coverage
AWTuning (“we”, “our”, “us”) offers this Limited Warranty to the original purchaser of our parts and products. This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period, as defined below. This is a part-only warranty.
2. Warranty Period
This warranty lasts for 12 months or 20,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the date of purchase.
3. Warranty Scope
During the warranty period, AWTuning will replace any part found to be defective due to improper materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. This warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective product and does not cover labor costs, fluids, or any associated sundries. All electrical items must be accompanied by fault codes from the vehicle to be eligible for warranty replacement.
4. Exclusions from Warranty
This warranty does not cover:
- Misuse, neglect, or improper installation of the product.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Parts that have been fitted to vehicles for which they were not designed.
- Parts used for motorsport, competition, or any non-standard driving conditions.
- Vehicle recovery, consequential damage, or any additional parts or services required to replace the defective part.
5. Claim Process
If you experience an issue with a product, please contact us via email at returns@awtuning.co.uk. Provide a detailed description of the issue and, if the item is electrical, include fault codes from the vehicle. We will assess the claim and provide further instructions regarding the return or inspection of the defective part.
6. Remedies
AWTuning's sole obligation under this warranty is to replace the defective part. Labor costs, fluids, vehicle recovery, and any associated costs related to replacing the part are not covered under this warranty. The replacement part will be provided free of charge, but the cost of installation is the responsibility of the customer.
In the case that you have sent in a faulty unit for repair with us, we will require the unit back to rectify any faults
7. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain this warranty, you must:
- Use the part for its intended purpose and ensure it is installed on the correct vehicle.
- Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s maintenance schedules and guidelines.
- Avoid using the part in motorsport or high-performance applications unless explicitly stated otherwise.
8. Limitations of Liability
AWTuning is not liable for:
- Any vehicle recovery, towing, or transport costs.
- Any incidental or consequential damages caused by the defective part.
- The cost of labor, fluids, or additional parts needed to install the replacement product.
This warranty is the exclusive remedy offered by AWTuning for defective products. No other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are provided beyond the terms stated in this document.
